once upon a moonbeam.... a hundred years ago... woodstock new york was home to an arts colony – a wild and eccentric haven that drew painters, poets, musicians, and mystics from around the world. two pillars of the community were lovers and artists wilna hervey and nan mason. they lived on treasure farm at 75 cooper lake road. wilna, 6'3", was a silent film star, and nan, her partner, was a painter. every august, they threw a costume picnic the night of the full moon, with revelers often not dispersing til the following morning. come revive their moonlit mischief with us!!!!

there are a few local hotels in woodstock (twin gables; the herwood; catskill seasons inn; etc.) and several more options closer to saugerties and kingston

limited parking will be available; carpooling encouraged. there will be a van available for local drop-offs

all are welcome to pitch a tent in the field or revel until trains service resumes at 6:09am (from rhinecliff station). trailways buses also go between woodstock and nyc
